Terms of Service
Last updated 15 October 2026
These terms apply to your HostingBaba (hostingbaba.net) account and to every server you order. Questions: support@hostingbaba.net. Our Acceptable Use Policy, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy form part of these terms.
1. Who can use HostingBaba
You must be at least 18. You may not use HostingBaba, or order a server for someone else, if you are located in North Korea, Russia, Syria, Sudan, Iran or Cuba, or in the Crimea, Donetsk or Luhansk regions. We close accounts that break this rule. If sanctions law forbids us returning a payment, even as credit, we will not return it.
2. What you buy
A virtual server with the resources, location, operating system and term shown when you ordered. Servers run on infrastructure provided by our hosting partner in the location you chose. You do not acquire any physical equipment. The IP address assigned to your server is not yours to keep or transfer, and may be changed for technical or legal reasons; we tell you first where we can. Port speeds are maximums, not guarantees, and there is no monthly data cap: transfer speed is limited by your plan's port speed, and use that harms our network or other customers is not allowed (see our Acceptable Use Policy).
3. Payment and term
Prices are in US dollars. You pay in advance, in cryptocurrency or from your account balance. Your server is set up once the payment is confirmed on the blockchain. Delivery times we give are estimates. Terms run for 1 month, 3 months, 6 months or 1 year and do not renew automatically. An order already made for 24 months keeps that term. All payments are final and non-reversible, except as described in our Refund Policy: you get a refund if your server is not delivered within 24 hours, or if it does not work and we cannot fix it within 24 hours.
4. Renewal and expiry
You can renew a server from its page in your dashboard, paid from your account balance. Renewing early adds the time on to your current end date. If a server is not renewed, it is switched off on its end date and permanently deleted, with everything on it, seven days later. We email you seven days and one day before the end date, and again when it is switched off.
5. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for your account and for everything done on your server, including by anyone you give access to. You manage and update your server, keep your own backups, and use only properly licensed software. Your server is unmanaged: we do not administer the software you run on it. Change the server's password after you first log in. You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy.
You are responsible, under data protection law, for any personal data you store or process on your server. We and our hosting partner handle it only to provide the service.
6. Windows servers
Windows Server is licensed to you by Microsoft through our hosting partner, under Microsoft's licence terms for hosted services. By using a Windows server you agree to those terms. In short: Microsoft owns the software; you may not copy it, reverse engineer it, or rent, transfer or resell the licence; you may not use it where a failure could cause death, injury or serious damage; you may not install your own Windows licence on these servers; and Microsoft may enforce these terms and check compliance directly. Up to two people may use remote desktop for administration; more users need separate Remote Desktop licences.
7. Controls in your dashboard
From your dashboard you can see your login details, start and restart your server, open its console in your browser, and renew or cancel it. Other actions, such as a reinstall or a password reset, are carried out by our support team when you ask. A reinstall erases everything on the server and cannot be undone, and a password reset stops the old password working at once.
8. Suspension and closure
We may suspend a server, or close an account, straight away to stop serious abuse or a security incident, where the law requires it, or where our hosting partner requires it. Otherwise we tell you first. In every case we tell you the reason and you can ask us to reconsider by replying to us.
If our hosting partner charges a reactivation fee after abuse suspension, that fee is charged to your account balance.
9. Availability
Maintenance, faults and network problems can affect availability. We do not offer an uptime guarantee or service credits. We investigate problems you report and apply the remedies in our Refund Policy and the law.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses caused by how you configure or use your server, by someone using your login details, or by missing backups, and you are responsible for claims brought by others because of unlawful use of your server, including the costs they cause us. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, or your rights as a consumer.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Changes apply to purchases made after the update. Where a change matters to a service you are already using, we email you first. A change never takes away a refund, price or right promised for a purchase you have already made.
